Wow! Summer has passed so quickly. It’s hard to believe it is time to begin a new school year. I am so excited about all of the new things this year will bring. I can hardly wait to meet each of my new fourth graders and their families. I am anticipating a marvelous school year.

Another thing I am so excited about is the Global Horizons class that Mrs. Ziegler and I will be sharing. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of twenty-four computers for our classroom. What an exciting way to learn language arts and social studies! Technology integration will add a whole new dimension of excitement to learning.

I am looking forward to parent orientation on Sunday, August 6th and to the first day of school for students on Tuesday, August 8th. I hope to see you there!
